Corporate reporting

In this section you can find our corporate reporting documents, including annual reports, salary information and more.

Accountability

We are the independent regulator for equality, human rights and good relations in Britain. We were established by the Equality Act 2006 and our sponsor government department is the Government Equalities Office.

Annual reports and accounts

We publish our annual report and accounts each year. This is a requirement, as a public-funded body, but also shows how we have met our objectives and targets in that year.

Transparency

For transparency, we have made a commitment to publish details of how we are using public money. This includes details of spending, tenders and contracts issued and salaries.

To see tenders for the Commission visit the procurement portal.

To find contracts across government, search the contracts finder

Departments are asked to publish their spending information using the same approach to timing, format and content. We follow guidance available on the HM Treasury website and publish the information in conjunction with our sponsor department, the Cabinet Office.

Business impact target (BIT) reporting

The business impact target (BIT) measures the economic effect of regulation on businesses. Every year we have to publish BIT assessments for qualifying regulatory provisions (QRPs) and a summary of non-qualifying regulatory provisions (NQRPs), without assessing their impact.

Consultation responses

We respond to consultations on areas of policy relevant to our remit. See our consultation responses.

Reports and publications

We publish a large number of reports as a result of our work, including research and inquiry reports. Visit our publications library.
