The business impact target (BIT) measures the economic effect of regulation on businesses.

Every year we have to publish:

  • assessments for qualifying regulatory provisions (QRPs)
  • a summary of non-qualifying regulatory provisions (NQRPs), without assessing their impact

We are required to publish these under the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act (SBEE) 2015.

Where appropriate, our assessments have been validated by the Regulatory Policy Committee. They cover the period from May 2015 to May 2017.
